Forklift Driver Job Summary

• Pay is $18/hr.
• 8am-5pm Monday – Friday
• Overtime possibilities
• Temp to Hire

Forklift Driver Job Duties

• Safely operate forklift to unload trucks and transport material and product throughout the facility.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Inspect forklift daily to ensure safe operation.
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facility.
• Assist other team members within production to support the success of our customers clients.

Forklift Driver Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a forklift operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in loading and unloading non palletized goods is preferred.
• Ability to read and write to help understand customer orders and determine selection of product.
• Basic computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must wear steel or composite toed boots.

Forklift Driver Physical Requirements

• Lift 40 pounds repeatedly and without assistance or equipment
• Utilize all material handling equipment without assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
