ITA is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our team remotely in the National Capital Region. Please note this position is contingent upon successful contract award expected Spring 2025.

Key Responsibilities

Design technical solutions to support rapid software development in projects related to supply chain analysis, production line modeling, and process improvements.
Create baseline software and/or database products.
Collaborate with senior developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions.
Modify and enhance existing software and/or database products.
Write and perform unit tests and peer reviews of technical products.
Troubleshoot, correct, and test code defects.
Participate in Scrum meetings and Agile software development processes.
Follow established government standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FISMA, NIST, CMMI) in software development and security practices.
Work within the team's development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to deadlines and project milestones.
Assist with maintaining and improving software deployment pipelines.
Model the ITA core values of Quality, Integrity, and Respect.

Required Qualifications

Technical Bachelor's Degree (e.g., Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field) from an accredited 4-year institution.
Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
Basic understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
Strong communicator, both orally and in writing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI).
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
