The Role: What You'll Do

This is a Hybrid role based in our Ottawa headquarters. As an iOS Developer, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Swift code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend) to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with Core Data, Realm, or other database solutions to ensure robust and efficient data management.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure consistency and quality.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience developing native iOS applications.
• Deep proficiency in Swift and the iOS SDK.
• Experience with UIKit and modern Apple frameworks.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns (e.g., MVVM, Coordinator), and architectural best practices.
• Experience with Git and standard development workflows.
• Eligible to work in Canada (required for this Ottawa-based role).

Bonus Points

• Experience with SwiftUI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and internationalization best practices.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit/UI tests.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and modern backend services.
