Director, Quality Assurance Engineering

The Director, Quality Assurance Engineering will oversee the development and implementation of the QA strategy and roadmap. They will lead QA teams in developing the QA framework and standards, finalizing a set of QA tools and producing quality metrics to tech leadership. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in CS, Electrical & Electronics Eng or related field and 10 years of experience leading software QA teams in a digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define overall QA strategy & roadmap
• Oversee test automation strategy to ensure regression coverage of existing apps
• Own functional, regression, security, load, performance, accessibility & mobile testing areas
• Lead QA teams in developing the QA framework & standards
• Finalize a set of QA tools & produce quality metrics to tech leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, Electrical & Electronics Eng or related field
• 10 yrs exp leading Software QA teams in digital environ
• 7 yrs exp leading QA/Eng team in Retail Commerce Domain
• 7 yrs exp in retail environ techs like Fabric, ATG, OMS, WMS, SCM SAP, TIBCO, S5, BambooRose & Reverse Logistics
• 7 yrs exp in services like SFSC, SFCC, Algolia, Syte, Kount, Worldpay & Store systems
• 7 yrs hands-on exp in System Functional Testing, Integration testing & End to End testing
• 7 yrs hands-on exp in Mobile Testing, Device Testing & Multi Browser Testing
• 7 yrs hands-on exp in Load Testing, Performance Testing, Security Testing & Accessibility Testing
• 7 yrs hands-on exp in Automated testing using Selenium, Browser Stack, Sauce Labs, Appium, Kobiton, Katalon, Mabl & JMeter
• 7 yrs hands-on exp in Web Testing, API testing & automation using JavaScript
• 7 yrs exp w/ transforming a Manual QA team to Automation first Quality Engineering team
• 7 yrs of hands-on exp w/ Test Case Mgmt solutions such as QTest, TestRail, HP ALM & similar techs
• Exp in building software quality strategies that address process improvements leading to efficiencies & effectiveness
• Exp working & leading in Agile/Scrum environ supporting broad & diverse portfolio of Commerce products & systems
