This remote role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining guest-facing mobile applications for IHOP and Applebee' on Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and creativity to deliver seamless digital experiences that engage millions of customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Software Engineer:

Develop, test, and maintain mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms using native technologies such as Swift and SwiftUI.
Design and implement user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and aligned with brand standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and external agencies, to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, following Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
Ensure mobile applications meet security, accessibility (ADA), and performance standards.
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance to peers on mobile development best practices.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovations to improve mobile experiences.
Support continuous learning and professional growth in mobile and digital technologies, including AI/ML and serverless solutions.

Qualifications and Experience of Software Engineer:

Minimum 4 years of professional experience developing native mobile applications.
Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI with strong understanding of MVVM or similar clean architecture patterns.
Experience with Git version control, package managers (SPM/CocoaPods), unit and integration testing.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, mobile security protocols, and programmatic UI development.
Detail-oriented with a focus on code quality, naming conventions, and pixel-perfect UI implementation.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for building mobile apps and continuous learning in digital technologies.

Salary

Target salary ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
