QA Software Tester

We are seeking a talented and experienced QA Software Tester to join our growing team in Los Angeles As a QA Software Tester you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products before they are released to the market This is a contract position with the potential for permanent employment

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts to ensure the quality of our software products
• Identify and report bugs errors and other issues to the development team
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Perform regression testing to ensure that all bugs have been fixed and new features work as expected
• Use manual testing techniques as well as automated testing tools when necessary
• Write clear and comprehensive bug reports
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings with the development team
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends best practices and new technologies related to software testing

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a QA Tester or similar role
• Experience with both manual and automated software testing techniques
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and processes
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Good communication skills both written and verbal

Salary This is a contract position paying $1100 per month The salary may be renegotiated based on performance

Location This position is located in Los Angeles Candidates who are located in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles will be given preference
