QA Software Tester for Business Listing Website

We're looking for an experienced QA Software Tester to help us test and validate the functionality of our website, DrupsInvesting.com — a platform for browsing and exploring small business listings for sale.

We've just completed several core pages and are preparing for broader launch. We need a detail-oriented QA tester who can ensure everything works flawlessly across devices and browsers, and help us catch issues early.

Scope of Work

1. Perform manual QA testing of all key features, including:

• Business listings and deal listings display and layout
• Business listing and deal listing profiles
• Search functionality and filters
• Page responsiveness and loading
• Contact forms and interactive elements

2. Cross-browser and cross-device testing (desktop, tablet, mobile)

3. File structured bug reports with

• Steps to reproduce
• Screenshots or video (if applicable)
• Bug severity/prioritization

4. Suggest any UI/UX improvements you notice

5. Document your QA testing process and checklist as part of the deliverables

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience testing websites or platforms with dynamic content
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly
• Able to deliver both bug reports and clear documentation of the testing process

Expectations

• 24 hr response to inquiries (Monday-Friday)
• Deadlines will be set for work products and agreed upon deadlines will be kept.
• 24 hr Response for small changes (Monday-Friday)

Notification in advance of any times you will not be available to respond within 24 hours (holidays) or meet a deadline. Also, any notification in advance if you are sick and will not be able to hit a deadline. When a deadline is missed we'll re-negotiate any deadlines and try to resolve difficulties that prevented hitting the deadline.

• Weekly updates on the project with drafts submitted to show progress.
• 3 Day Draft Completion: Each project iteration will be completed within 3 days from assigning the list of changes that need to be addresses.
