QA Engineer / Manual QA / Software Testing Expert for our SaaS App ( Quick Consultation ) - Contract to Hire

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer / Manual QA / Software Testing Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications by performing thorough manual testing and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and define test strategies, plans, and test cases.
• Perform comprehensive manual testing for web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Identify, log, and track bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).
• Perform regression, functional, usability, UI/UX, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Validate bug fixes and perform retesting.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure product quality and seamless delivery.
• Prepare detailed test reports and provide feedback to improve quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Manual Testing or Software QA.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development process.
• Basic understanding of APIs and how to test them using tools like Postman is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications
