Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days/month)

Type: Permanent, Full-time

Our client, a global investment technology firm, is hiring Software Developers to help expand their Toronto office. This team builds and supports highly specialized financial systems that deliver end-of-day portfolio calculations and performance insights to hedge funds and institutional investors. This is a unique opportunity to work on a niche product with real-world financial impact, in an established and stable organization with a strong technical culture.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and support back-end applications written in C#/.NET, with a strong focus on testing and code quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of former accountants, product owners, and developers to deliver features and fix bugs on their core platform (Diamond)
• Participate in building tools for tracking gains/losses, consolidating portfolios, and producing performance reports
• Contribute to ongoing improvements and support long-term product development initiatives in a team-first, no-overtime culture
• Engage in a highly collaborative environment with ~15 developers and a parallel business/product team

What You Bring

• 3+ years of C#/.NET development experience (back end) as well as experience with ASP.NET MVC, AngularJS, WCF, XML and MS SQL
• Strong knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture and Object-Oriented Programming
• Strong unit testing and debugging skills
• Experience with financial systems or accounting software preferred
• Bonus: Enrollment in or completion of CPA/CFA courses
• Understanding of capital markets, fund performance, or portfolio analytics is a strong asset
• Excellent communication and a collaborative approach to team problem-solving
