Chef Assistant - Hotel Restaurant (Part-Time - Orlando, FL)

We are currently seeking a Chef Assistant for a restaurant located inside a hotel in Orlando, FL. This is a part-time role ideal for someone passionate about food preparation and supporting efficient kitchen operations.

Shifts: Day shifts, including weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the chef and kitchen staff with daily food preparation
• Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients for cooking
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas and kitchen equipment
• Ensure food is stored and labeled properly according to safety standards
• Assist in plating dishes and preparing meals during busy service periods
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Help with receiving and storing kitchen inventory and supplies
• Support the overall efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
