About The Role
As a Full-Stack Developer at MyChoice, you’ll be working alongside our A+ development team and owning features end-to-end across our tech stack. Your work will be powering the real-time insurance platform that saves Canadians millions in insurance, and you’ll help to solve some of the toughest challenges in insurance industry on the application & underwriting side of things. You’ll get to craft slick UIs, build high-throughput REST APIs, and experiment with different AI integrations.
What We Are Looking For
- Must-haves: 3 - 5 years work experience with desired skillset.
- Must-haves: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Git, PostgreSQL.
- Nice-to-haves: Django, Django REST Framework, Chakra UI, Redis, GitHub CI/CD.
- Experience building production web apps (or equivalent open-source footprints).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment. You’re comfortable discussing trade-offs and explaining your ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A bias for clean code, great DX, and constant learning.
- Proven passion for AI. You’re excited about the AI/ML space and the idea of working with experimental technologies like MCP, browser use, real-time voice, etc.
- Design and UX mindset: You care about the user. Maybe you’re not a designer, but you have a knack for building UI features that are intuitive and delightful.
- Fluency in written & spoken English.
- Collaborative communicator: You work well in a team and communicate clearly.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary, equity, and a variety of benefits. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location.
