Join Marvell’s software team to develop embedded firmware and test code for advanced DSP hardware used in global cloud data centers.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing

  • Develop embedded C firmware for controlling complex DSP hardware
  • Develop C and Python test code for utilities, GUIs, regression, and simulation infrastructure
  • Take ideas from concept through design, review, implementation, testing, and release to customers
  • Work on mission-critical features for top-tier cloud customers
  • Debug difficult issues, collaborate with hardware and software teams to identify root causes, and manage bug resolution via Jira
  • Contribute to Marvell’s Networking PAM4 DSPs software components including embedded firmware, customer SDK, lab test, and QA

About You

The company is looking for

  • Currently pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • At least 1 year of related coursework
  • Curiosity and drive to learn about complex DSP and software development
  • Preferred skills include excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Strong proficiency in C and Python; knowledge of git, Linux, makefiles, gbs, IDEs, and bash is a plus
  • Understanding of software development flow including issue tracking (Jira), design and code reviews (GitLab), continuous integration (Jenkins), and regression testing
  • Background in computer or processor architecture is preferred
