Overview

The Software Integration Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a large-scale multi-tenant Kubernetes "on-prem" cluster. This cluster forms the foundation for mission-critical applications spanning multiple tenants.

The engineer will collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to:

  • Implement automation
  • Enforce best practices
  • Support the integration of new services
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and security of the Kubernetes infrastructure

Required Skills

  • Experience with Linux CLI
  • Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting
  • Strong skills in Kubernetes workload troubleshooting (networking, ingress, storage, performance)
  • Hands-on experience with Docker containerization
  • Demonstrated Kubernetes administration and monitoring
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Helm and Ansible
  • Experience using Prometheus and Grafana for system monitoring
  • Familiarity with Git for source code management, including branching strategies and team collaboration

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification

Qualifications
