Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, test, and document applications, integrations, tools, systems, and components based on project or change request specifications and procedures using knowledge of and ability to code in JavaScript including user interfaces, Java, .Net, and other web-related technologies as well as other object-oriented development languages.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, correction of software defects and production of application validation; Verify changes by development unit test plans, test data and scripts which also perform desk checks and debugging.
  • Analyze and develop the System Development Life Cycle.
  • Identify and resolve advanced application issues using appropriate code languages, toolsets, and additional configuration processes; Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.
  • Review patch and upgrade information and ensure implementation where appropriate.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors or Foreign Equivalent Degree in Computer Science, MIS (Management Information System), CIS (Computer Information Systems), Engineering-any branch or a related field of study
  • Two (2) Years of Experience as Specialist I - Software Engineer or related occupation
  • Experience in JavaScript, Java, .NET and other web-related technologies
  • The employer will accept a foreign education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree as determined by a qualified credential evaluation service
  • Travel and/or relocate to any work site in the US as needed with expenses paid by employer
  • May telecommute from any location in the US
  • Travel/relocation to various unanticipated worksites within the United States is required
  • International travel is not required
