Armed Security Officer( Weekend) (9am-5pm)

Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Security Officer to oversee and protect our premises during weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, preventing loss, and responding effectively to emergencies. This role requires a strong sense of security protocol, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle conflict situations with professionalism. Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security is highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to safety and security.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security of personnel and property
Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems and other security equipment to detect suspicious activities
Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified
Enforce company policies and procedures related to loss prevention and access control
Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities
Manage conflict situations with professionalism, de-escalating potential threats or disturbances
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
Conduct regular checks of security systems and physical barriers to ensure operational integrity

Qualifications

Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or private security preferred
Certifications in first aid, CPR, or related emergency response training highly desirable
Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and alarm systems
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations is a plus

Pay: $17.25 - $20.00 per hour
