Software Development Internship Opportunity

Cisco is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Development intern to join our team. As a software developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing next-generation solutions across cloud, mobile, desktop, and security spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop reliable, user-friendly tools that support critical technology platforms.
• Balance software capabilities with hardware compatibility considerations.
• Influence design decisions to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Computer Science, Software Development, or related technical field.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C/C++, Python, or Java.
• Experience in QA, testing, and/or debugging.
• Legal ability to live and work in Canada without visa support or sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Linux, networking concepts, operating system core concepts, embedded development, and/or machine learning.
• Experience with databases, web application development, and web services.
• Knowledge in computer networking and/or cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
