About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Motorsport Software Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving innovation and excellence in the racing industry.
Job Description
- Develop software for motorsport projects with a focus on controls software using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Conduct software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
- Deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Adhere to and improve applicable software development processes.
- Develop software tools for workflow improvement.
- Identify and resolve both component and system issues.
- Provide on-site application support for Motorsport products at customer, track, and other development sites.
- Interface directly with customers to collect and clarify software requirements.
- Create and follow project timelines.
- Work as part of a global software development team.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 20% per year, including 1-3 weeks in Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 1 year of industry-relevant software or calibration experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with Matlab/Simulink.
- At least 1 year of experience with industry-relevant data analysis (i.e., working with data acquisition and data analysis tools).
