The QNX Build Team seeks a motivated individual to join our dynamic team in the role of Build Specialist.

We support the broader developer community by maximizing the effectiveness of our build infrastructure. Our automation, packaging, and maintenance forms the basis for continuous stability and improvement of QNX products, including the QNX real-time operating system.

As a member of our team, you will contribute to the management of the build infrastructure, development of build processes, support of continuous integration techniques, and handle configuration management for a suite of continuously evolving QNX products.

">Responsibilities">

• ">
• Drive the evolution of our CI/CD infrastructure and software delivery platform, with a focus on developing and managing tool-based processes.">
• Develop tooling to automate building software, particularly C/C++ projects.">
• Write and configure pipelines to automate build and packaging processes using Jenkins and Gitlab.">
• Interact with developers and project managers to understand build requirements and define product deliverables.">
• Maintain build team infrastructure using IaC approaches and perform system administration tasks.">
• Provide build support to other members of the company.">

">You Will Have">

• ">
• Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Groovy, Bash, C, and C++.">
• Experience with automated build systems like Jenkins and Gitlab pipelines.">
• Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies such as Docker, ProxMox, Openstack, and AWS.">
• System administration skills on Linux.">
• Familiarity with GNU make and make files.">
• Version control and source configuration experience in Git and Subversion.">
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.">
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.">
• A desire to learn new technologies.">
• A passion for automating tasks, deployments, and builds.">

• Experience compiling C/C++ projects using GCC.">
• Package creation experience.">

• Working knowledge of the QNX operating system.">
