Cloud Software Developer - Recent Graduate

This is a Hybrid role that involves working closely with other software engineers to investigate, develop, fix, test, and deliver software across the full cloud technology stack.

You will be involved in understanding requirements, implementing new functionality, modifying existing features, and supporting the solution.

This may include working in different domains such as UI development to building backend services in a micro-service based, secure, native cloud enterprise deployment.

You will work closely with a cross-matrixed team in a scaled agile environment.

This role requires you to have knowledge in building enterprise micro-service cloud based applications.

You should also have experience developing code using IDE's such as Intellij or Visual Studio.

A minimum of 1-year of experience delivering software in an agile development environment is required.

  • Modifying existing code

  • Implementing and following security best practices
  • Participating in automated testing
  • Managing source code repository
  • Documenting and maintaining internal knowledge
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Proven programming skills in Java, Linux scripting languages
  • Minimum 1-year of experience delivering software in an agile development environment
  • Experience developing code using IDE's
  • Knowledge in building enterprise micro-service cloud based applications
  • Experience with web-based client-server applications
  • Familiarity with web markup, protocol, and client-side scripting technologies
  • Ability to effectively work in a cross matrixed team environment
