Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Salesforce QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and hands-on experience with Salesforce platforms (Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.). You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying issues, and ensuring that Salesforce solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, document, and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated) for Salesforce applications.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of Salesforce components.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and validate solutions.
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Perform data validation and testing with Salesforce Reports and SOQL queries.
Ensure Salesforce releases, configurations, and custom developments are thoroughly tested.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support production deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of QA testing experience, with at least 1–2 years in Salesforce testing.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, workflows, process builders, validation rules, and custom objects.
Experience in manual testing; automation testing tools like Selenium or Provar is a plus.
Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
Familiarity with SOQL queries and basic Salesforce data models.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder) are a plus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
Familiarity with testing APIs via tools like Postman or SOAP UI.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
