Overview

Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for the AWS Streaming Foundations team in End User Computing. The role helps develop and grow products and technologies for secure, low-latency display protocols that enable remote access to graphical interfaces in the cloud or data centers, supporting AWS AppStream 2.0, Amazon Workspaces, and customers worldwide.

Responsibilities Design and develop tools, frameworks and testing infrastructure to facilitate testing and development cycles, including analyzing requirements, assessing testability, identifying automation opportunities and implementing them for projects Participate in design and code review, test tools/frameworks review. Lead effort towards simplifying test tools and technologies in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, stability, extensibility, and scalability. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience 1+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design Experience designing or supporting low-maintenance automation frameworks Experience in platform-level security mitigations and hardening for Linux and Windows Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment Experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services
