Description of Duties
The ADA/Automation Tester will have a strong proficiency in building robust Selenium automation frameworks and a deep understanding of accessibility testing standards. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Java, TestNG, and Maven, alongside expertise in accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1/2.2, Section 508, ARIA).
ADA & Automation Tester Qualifications
- Expertise in building and maintaining robust Selenium frameworks using Java, including page object model, custom utilities, and reusable components.
- Solid understanding of TestNG for test orchestration and execution control (groups, dependencies, parallel execution) and Maven for dependency management and test packaging.
- Ability to design, implement, and enhance test automation framework including reusable utilities for reporting, logging, exception handling, and test data management.
- Proficient in analyzing failures, debugging complex issues, and collaborating with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure continuous quality and test coverage in agile environments.
- Hands-on experience in configuring and running parallel test executions using Selenium Grid or cloud-based grids (like BrowserStack/Grid), optimizing test run time across multiple browsers and platforms.
- Proficient in writing and maintaining Selenium test scripts for UI and accessibility validation.
- Capable of integrating custom accessibility checks into Selenium flows.
- Hands-on experience using BrowserStack’s Accessibility Testing tools and APIs.
- Understanding of how to execute ADA scans during automated test runs in BrowserStack environments.
- Solid understanding of WCAG 2.1/2.2, Section 508, and ARIA best practices to interpret and act on accessibility scan results.
- Strong ability to communicate accessibility issues to developers and product owners.
- Work cross-functionally to recommend fixes and verify compliance after remediation.

Working Schedule and Travel
Remote
- 8 am to 5 pm HST
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
