Summary
Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and contribute to moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables
- Support and maintain four .NET applications within the Wealth and Investment Management line of business
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Review and analyze complex software engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple variable factors
- Develop and implement solutions using .NET Core and Angular frameworks
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL database components and queries
- Create and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure application quality and reliability
- Utilize GitHub for version control and collaborative development
- Leverage GitHub Copilot to enhance development efficiency and code quality
- Contribute to large-scale planning activities related to software engineering deliverables
- Consult with client personnel and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Ensure all deliverables comply with established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Experience working as part of an Agile Scrum team supporting enterprise applications
- Hands-on expertise with .NET Core and Angular for application development
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database interaction
- Experience implementing and maintaining automated testing frameworks (Playwright or equivalent)
- Proficiency with GitHub for source control and collaboration, including use of GitHub Copilot
- Familiarity with Agile project management and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience supporting and maintaining applications in a Wealth and Investment Management or similar financial services environment
- Exposure to or experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) for containerized application deployment and management
