About this role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Manual QA Tester with hands‑on testing experience and foundational SQL skills. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA staff to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.

Desired qualifications

• 1–2+ years of manual software testing experience
• Working knowledge of SQL, including writing basic SELECT queries, joins, and data validation
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and test design
• Experience with at least one defect‑tracking tool (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
• Ability to execute test cases and conduct effective exploratory testing
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem‑solving skills
• Clear communication skills and comfort collaborating with cross‑functional teams
• Experience testing web or mobile applications

What you’ll do

• Use SQL to validate data, perform database checks, and support troubleshooting
• Execute manual test cases for new and existing features
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing
• Write and maintain clear, reproducible defect reports
• Review requirements and provide feedback on clarity and testability
• Maintain and update test cases and QA documentation
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and test coverage
