Design System Software Engineer
As a Design System Software Engineer at Verily, you will be responsible for producing a reusable and accessible design system that supports an outstanding user experience.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the development team to design and deliver new application components.
- Come up with ideas to technical design problems, compare options, and propose solutions.
- Develop using industry-standard tools including GitHub, React, TypeScript, Storybook, and Cypress.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience as a software engineer in an industry setting.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
- Strong React fundamentals.
- Clear written communication, especially in design and architecture documents.
- Ability to facilitate productive discussions across the extended team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with WCAG A11y standards and requirements.
- Testing experience (BDD, Integration).
- MUI library experience.
- Agile production methods (Jira).
