Context/ ROLE

An opportunity has arisen for a Software Developer Engineer in Test, to join Endered PayTech's dynamic and fast-paced Development team.

Position SCOPE & Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of the design and delivery of Front-end automation testing
• Ensure the highest quality through appropriate functional and non-functional testing, including device, browser, accessibility testing
• Produce and track all the relevant QA artefacts (e.g. test plans, test execution reports, defect reporting)
• Actively support the releases of the newly developed portal
• Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to more junior QA engineers, as required
• Develop and execute automated tests for web applications
• Implement and maintain testing frameworks and tools
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experience
• Coordinate with the development team on testing needs and findings

Required Skills & Profile

• Front-end test automation
• Established front-end testing frameworks and tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright
• TDD and BDD tools and techniques
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as Java
• Experience in data creation and curation
• DevOps practices and principles
• Experience of the following: SQL, XML/JSON, Jenkins & BitBucket, API and web services (REST), AWS services
• Self-starter, strong communication skills - written & verbal- able to explain technical issues and solutions to peers
• Excellent problem-solving ability, well organized – able to plan own work and track progress against a plan
• Influencer – can articulate and challenge appropriately around testing best practices
