Senior Developer ( Mern Stack)

Typical Day in Role

• Tech Stack: MERN Stack – Mongo, SQL, Redis
• Full Stack Role: 50/50 split
• Design and develop full-stack applications aligned with business requirements.
• Implement robust APIs and front-end interfaces using modern frameworks.
• Collaborate on roadmap initiatives and contribute to technical decisions.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills

1) 10+ years’ experience in web development

2) REST API Design & Integration – 3+ years

3) 3+ years’ MERN Stack experience: React, Node.js – Including production deployment, SQL / MongoDB - Database design and integration, Redis – Understanding of caching strategies and session management

4) Modern JS Tooling – ES6+, Webpack, Babel, Jest (2+ years)

5) Authentication & Security – OAuth2 or similar (2+ years)

Nice-To-Have Skills

1) Object-Oriented & Functional Design – 3+ years

2) HTML/CSS/SASS – Familiarity with BEM, OOCSS, SMACSS, CSS3 Animations (2+ years)

3) Server-Side Rendering experience

4) Accessibility & Internationalization (JAWS, VoiceOver)

5) Strong estimation and planning skills
