Retail QA Software Analyst

Our product software client is looking for a QA Analyst to join their growing team! This is a permanent hire position in Raleigh, North Carolina with our client. In this role you will take ownership of software QA, using industry best practices. This is an onsite position and no sponsorship is available. POS/retail software testing experience is a huge plus!

Responsibilities as a QA Analyst

  • Actively participate in enhancing QA processes and procedures for retail/restaurant technologies
  • Perform testing of new or modified programs or functionality to verify correctness and performance according to approved, documented user requirements
  • Work with users and developers to create test plans, test new systems, and analyze issues related to current systems including database-level investigation
  • Assist developers with problem resolution and recommends program improvements
  • Write test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, and information systems
  • Execute and documents test plans, test cases, test data, and test scenarios to ensure processes flow properly
  • Conduct compatibility testing with different OS and hardware platforms

Required Skills for QA Analyst

  • 7+ years of Software QA experience
  • Must have demonstrated ability to develop and execute test cases for complex requirements
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication (both oral and written) skills
  • Self-motivated, driven, resourceful and able to get things done
  • Enjoy working in fast-paced, collaborative, agile environments
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly is a fundamental necessity
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Qualifications

  • POS/retail software testing experience is a huge plus!
