Role Overview

We are seeking a Front-End Software Developer (Co-op / Entry-Level) to join our team for a 3-month term starting September 29, 2025. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain their first industry experience in software development. It may be especially appealing to students, newcomers to Ottawa, or professionals interested in growing their skills. As part of a fast-growing startup, you’ll gain exposure not only to coding but also to the inner workings of building and scaling a new business.

Responsibilities

Develop front-end features for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with the team on UI/UX design and implementation.
Write clean, scalable code using TypeScript and JavaScript.
Use GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Test, debug, and optimize front-end code for performance.
Participate in in-person brainstorming sessions to share and refine ideas for app development.
Assist with administrative or project-related tasks as needed to support the team and the project’s progress.
Work on-site with close supervision and mentorship.

Qualifications

Open to individuals seeking their first industry experience in software development, including co-op participants, newcomers to Ottawa, or early-career developers.
Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and web development frameworks.
Familiarity with GitHub and collaborative coding practices.
Enthusiastic about learning and applying new technologies.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
