UAT Tester

A professional services firm in New Jersey is currently seeking a UAT Tester to join their team!

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user stories
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality
• Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues
• Document and report bugs, errors, and other issues found during testing
• Work closely with Developers and Project Managers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
• Participate in user acceptance testing sessions to gather feedback and validate software against user requirements
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior experience as a User Acceptance Tester and/or in a similar role
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies
