Join our dynamic team as an Operations Analyst and Software Tester, where your attention to detail and collaborative spirit will play a crucial role in supporting multiple software projects. In this position, you'll engage with a range of stakeholders to ensure that our software deliveries are reliable, technically sound, and aligned with user needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and validate user requirements, provide updates, and clarify needs throughout project phases.
- Communicate product status, testing results, and process changes clearly and concisely to ensure alignment.
- Analyze system design and operational requirements to ensure full traceability across functional and integration testing.
- Contribute to the preparation and improvement of technical documentation, including Software Design Descriptions (SDD) and Cybersecurity Implementation Plans (CSIP).
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders in documentation changes to maintain relevance and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and reports, ensuring adherence to established documentation standards.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinating user participation and reporting on results to all teams involved.
- Ensure timely delivery and compliance with project schedules while incorporating stakeholder feedback effectively.
- Support regular updates to team documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reflecting current practices.
- Document outcomes and action items from stakeholder meetings to foster alignment across functions.
- Track changes and risks associated with project deliverables, ensuring transparent communication.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, enhancing quality and efficiency in operations.
- Advance the creation and maintenance of an automated testing suite to improve test efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
- Secret Security Clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in software/system testing or operations analysis, ideally with DoD or critical enterprise systems.
- Experience in interpreting requirements to create test cases and workflows.
- Hands-on manual and automated testing experience, including test planning and reporting.
- Familiarity with technical documentation practices within DoD or federal contexts.
- Understanding of data management concepts or aviation reliability is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills; able to present findings to diverse audiences.
- Experience facilitating UAT and engaging stakeholders is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and test management tools is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for report and presentation preparation.
