Software Engineer II (Embedded C & C++)

JOB DESCRIPTION

100% remote position

Schedule: M-F 9 am - 3 pm EST core hours, 8 am-5 pm EST exception

Interviews: (2 rounds) 1st round screening with 2 managers, 2nd round with up to 3 test leads for expertise technical interview

Position Summary: Design team Support Software Engineer. Provides assistance to the embedded development team as needed.

Responsibilities: Supports the design development team by providing code review, module/unit testing and various review activies. Document software development activities and maintain records. Conduct code reviews and ensure software quality. Ensure compliance with development standards and best practices. Additional development tasks as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 1 year experience, or equivalent.
• Experience in software development or engineering roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages particularily C, C++ and python, and embedded development tools. S
• trong analytical and problem solving skills.

Required

• Unit Testing of Embedded C functions.
• Generating repeatable test cases and creating test artifacts.
• Review of unit test cases and artifacts.
• Code Review of C and C++ source code.
• Other duties as needs require and skill set allows.
