📝 Rquirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance is required, with 1 year or more in test automation preferred.
• Experience coding or scripting in at least one language such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C# is required.
• Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with testing approaches including functional, regression, UI/usability, and API testing.
• Comfort working across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android environments, with solid general networking and computing knowledge.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git and defect/test management tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL or similar query languages.
• Strong attention to detail, good organization, and the ability to succeed in a fast-moving Agile environment.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and take initiative.

👩💻👨💻 Your responsibilities are

• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Create, update, and run automated test cases, converting manual tests into automated suites when appropriate.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins to support continuous testing and delivery.
• Test and investigate issues across development and production environments.
• Identify defects, document reproduction steps, and create bug tickets in Jira.
• Execute and maintain automated regression suites during pre-release efforts.
• Troubleshoot data integrity, performance, and usability concerns in software applications.
• Review logs and automation results to help isolate defects and support troubleshooting.
• Analyze test outcomes and automation failures to separate product issues from test or environment problems.
• Lead or assist with release-day testing activities.
• Communicate test-blocking and release-blocking issues to the team promptly.
• Share progress, obstacles, and solutions with the team.
• Meet sprint-driven deadlines and contribute feedback during sprint meetings.
• Offer input on UI/UX design and usability improvements.
• Record test details, automation coverage, and notable findings for future reference.
• Continuously improve the quality, reliability, and breadth of automated testing across the development lifecycle.
