Location: Orlando, FL + Statewide Travel

Pay: $24.00–$33.00/hr (DOE)

Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Travel: Regular statewide travel (majority is same day)

About the Role

We’re hiring a Field Service Technician to support A/V systems, electronics, and electro-mechanical equipment in hospital and clinical environments throughout Florida.

This is a field-based, hands-on role — ideal for someone who likes variety, independence, and technical problem-solving.

What You’ll Do

Install, service, and repair A/V and electro-mechanical equipment
Support hospital teams, clinical staff, and biomedical departments
Troubleshoot using multimeters and diagnostic tools
Perform FRU-level part replacement
Mount displays, route cables, and configure A/V setups
Document work performed and parts used
Travel throughout Florida to complete scheduled and urgent service calls
Communicate clearly with hospital staff and internal teams

What You Need (Required)

2–3+ years of experience with A/V, electronics, low-voltage, or electro-mechanical equipment
Ability to use basic diagnostic tools (multimeter, testers, hand tools)
Experience installing or servicing A/V equipment (mounts, cabling, displays)
Cable knowledge: HDMI, USB, Coax, Cat5/Cat6
Physically able to lift 50 lbs., climb, kneel, and work in tight spaces
Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
Comfortable with frequent travel

Nice to Have (Not Required)

CCTV or low-voltage experience
Medical environment experience
CompTIA A+, electronics coursework, or similar
Strong documentation skills (Word/Excel)
