About the Role

We're hiring someone to own build pipelines for our mobile apps and critical web applications, then build out automated testing infrastructure using real devices, UI automation, and fuzz testing.

You'll build the infrastructure that lets us ship confidently and frequently. Your work directly impacts business productivity, product quality, release velocity, and team morale.

This is only the initial focus — skilled operators will find many interesting problems to work on at Psiphon.

What You’ll Do (Initially)

Own the build process

Take complete ownership of CI/CD for iOS, Android, and web apps. Stabilize pipelines, optimize build times, manage code signing and certificates, and provide builds as a service to the team.

Build testing infrastructure

Implement real device testing (AWS Device Farm, Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack), UI automation (Appium, Detox, Maestro, Playwright), fuzz testing, and visual regression testing.

Continuously improve

Expand coverage to more apps, optimize costs, improve developer experience, and establish quality metrics.

Required Skills

• 4–6+ years in DevOps, release engineering, or build automation
• Mobile CI/CD experience (iOS & Android primarily)
• Passion

Nice to Have

• Cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter)
• Real device testing platforms experience
• UI automation tools (Appium, Detox, Maestro, Playwright, Cypress)
