Job Title: Software Developer (.NET)

Location: Toronto, ON (HYBRID)

Duration: 11+ Months

Client: Public Sector

Pay Rate: $65/hr - $70/hr (CAD)

Job Description

Looking for a skilled Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications. The role involves translating business requirements into functional software solutions, performing testing, and supporting implementation and migration activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable applications based on technical and business requirements
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
• Build and support data-driven applications, performing unit and integration testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development, deployment, and maintenance
• Assist in system implementation, conversion, and migration activities

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio (C# / VB)
• Strong hands-on in ASP.NET MVC and .NET Windows Applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2014+)
• Writing stored procedures and optimizing queries
• Experience in developing Web APIs using .NET
• Experience with Windows Services development
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as SSRS or Crystal Reports

Skills

• Working knowledge of JavaScript (jQuery, ReactJS)
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure and modern frameworks (Entity Framework, Angular, WCF)
• Familiarity with SharePoint or other collaboration platforms
