DevSecOps Developer

On behalf of our Financial Services/Banks client, People Force is searching for a DevSecOps Developer for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with onsite presence at our client’s Toronto – Hybrid office , 2 days per week

DevSecOps Developer

Toronto ,ON - Hybrid- 2 days in office

Duration: 6 months +

• Strong experience in application security, focusing on secrets scanning
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate security controls and gating into SSDLC.
• Solid understand of secrets scanning, identifying false positives in secrets and suggesting remediations whenever necessary.
• Train and educate development teams on using security tools and secure development practices.
• Familiarity working with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Action, GitLab CI/CD, etc.) and integrating security tools into the pipelines.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps & SLSA practices.
• Knowledge of application security frameworks and standards (OWASP Top 10, etc.).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
