Sr. Software QA Engineer /QA Tester

Peak Performers has partnered with a Texas State Agency to assist in their search for a remote Sr. Software QA Engineer/ Tester. In this position, you will be responsible for performing advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Quality Assurance (QA) section of the agency.

Major duties

Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases

Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases against HTML, PDF, and Excel Reports, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail

Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data

Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team

Execute performance and accessibility testing

Perform manual testing and data validation

What are we looking for?

7+ years of experience testing complex web applications, all phases of the SDLC, and Selenium and TextNG

5+ years of experience with advanced Database/ SQL language

3+ years of experience with Java Programming Language

2+ years of experience with WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or other performance testing tools

Testing automation experience with Playwright preferred

Experience parsing WebTables to verify R results preferred

Experience with PEIMS data collection preferred

Rate: $46.00/hour

W2 Contract

Remote

5 month contract with opportunity for extension
