Job Description

General Functions

Performs a wide variety of tasks related to warehousing, receiving, shipping, inventory, delivery, equipment operation and general maintenance in a supply operation.

Representative Duties/Assignments

Performs physical tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory handling, to include stock rotation and inventory.

• Determines correct quantities, sizes, uses, etc., of a wide variety of products and assures accuracy of related paperwork.
• Interacts with customers during merchandise pick up and delivery and utilizing appropriate customer service skills. Customers include vendors, staff members, and the general public.
• Performs equipment maintenance tasks related to warehouse and delivery machinery.
• Performs basic building maintenance and carpentry work as directed that is related to warehouse building and grounds, to include janitorial functions.
• Maintains timely and accurate handling of paperwork, to include supply requisitions, work orders, vendor invoices, technical manuals, MSDS information, and other related forms and documents.
• Operates a variety of equipment, including pickup truck, forklift, front-end loader, power tools, and medium-size trucks.
• Performs related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent and three years experience in warehouse or inventory control, building or equipment maintenance, or general construction.

Must possess a drivers license.
