Senior Software Quality Assurance EngineerLocation: 2 Gateway Center, Newark, NJ 07102Salary: From $125,528 - $130,000 per yearDuties:Role holder to develop automation tests in Junit/Serenity frameworks and to develop and organize manual acceptance & functional tests for the backend services, microservices and front end of web based applications. Specifically:Develop, maintain and execute test plans and test cases (manual and automated).Generate test execution reports to management and the product team.Provide estimate for testing efforts in agile environment as part of highly dynamic team.Contribute to release and sprint planning activities.Work with development engineers and automation lead to develop, execute and maintain test plans and test cases.Review test plans with product owner and software engineering team.Analyze and communicate test results to product owner and development team.Maintain and distribute defect reports.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 4 years of experience in job or related position. Must have 2 years of quality assurance (QA) experience in agile environments, as well as 2 years of experience with automation (Selenium, TestNG, Junit, Cucumber, JBehave, and Grid). Previous experience also to include setting up automation frameworks; Maven and Jenkins; JIRA or X-ray; SQL and relational databases and architecture; creating, managing and owning QA automation environments; and Java for automation of test cases.
