ServiceNow - Principal Software Engineer

About the Role

Seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead architecture and delivery of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. You’ll drive platform strategy, resolve complex technical challenges, and mentor engineering teams in a fast-paced, regulated financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define ServiceNow roadmap for ITSM, ITOM, Security Operations, GRC, SAM/HAM
• Architect CMDB/CSDM 4.0+ implementations and Performance Analytics solutions
• Ensure compliance with coding, testing, and documentation standards
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical specs
• Lead data management/reporting initiatives for platform stability

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years ServiceNow implementation experience
• 8+ years in IT/Security/GRC solutions
• Expertise in C 4.0+, Performance Analytics
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Agile/Scrum, ITIL
• Certifications: ServiceNow CSA + CAD (CMA/CTA preferred)
• BS in Computer Science (MS preferred)
• Experience in financial services (preferred)
• Tech Stack: ServiceNow (ITSM/ITOM/SecOps), Jira, Confluence, Oracle Cloud
