Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Mroads is looking for a "Software Quality Analyst" for one of our direct clients in Memphis, TN.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing of web and mobile applications.
• Test Android and iOS mobile applications across different devices and operating systems.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists based on requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira or similar.
• Perform end-to-end and integration testing to ensure application functionality and stability.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs from a QA perspective.
• Perform regression testing for new releases and enhancements.
• Support automation testing by creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to investigate and resolve issues.
• Contribute to improving test coverage, QA processes, and overall product quality.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance/testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in functional and regression testing.
• Experience testing mobile applications, preferably on both Android and iOS.
• Good understanding of STLC, SDLC, and defect life cycle.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Basic to intermediate experience with test automation using tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
• Good understanding of API testing and basic SQL is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
