Responsibilities

  • Define guidelines for writing manual tests and implement coding practices for automated tests.

  • Coordinate technical discussions and problem solving for software projects and collaborate with cross functional teams.

  • Act as a key interface between the software test team and other cross functional teams.

  • Provide timely reports for verification activities to management.

  • Test the functionality of software applications or systems software.

  • Execute test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in software applications and systems software.

  • Ensure software applications or systems software meet technical and functional requirements.

  • Provide feedback on test designs, document test results, and recommend quality improvements.

  • Work with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models.

  • Review test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering or Sciences field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in at least one programming language (e.g., Javascript, C#, Python) using an Embedded development environment.

  • Experience with both white box and black box testing.

  • Solid hands-on experience with automated, semi-automated, and manual testing.

  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
