Event Security Officer (Special Corporate Events)

Looking for several event security officers for specialized corporate event security. Prepare to work in a business casual and professional environment.

Overview

We are looking for future event security officers to work at our various hotel properties. Pay starts at $19.50 per hour for event shifts.

As an officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees, as well as providing excellent customer service to hotel guests and staff. If you have a strong attention to detail, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism, we encourage you to apply.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access or activities
• Conduct regular security checks of premises
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents
• Investigate and report any suspicious behavior or activities to front desk / management
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incident reports (Daily Activity Report)
• Perform first aid or CPR when necessary (We offer a free First-Aid course)
• Properly communicate and collaborate with Law Enforcement entities

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service abilities
• Valid security license preferred (D-License, unarmed)

• Strong observation and surveillance skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
• Previous experience in security is a plus
• Basic familiarity with electronic devices and their uses preffered (Reports on your phone, sending emails on the computer, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of first aid procedures or willingness to train, learn and get licensed for it
• Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus
