Injection Mold Operator

Advanced technology company that designs and manufactures innovative solutions for Orthopedic and Podiatric purposes isa now seeking to hire experienced machine operators with a background in injection molding process.

This position will require 2 weeks of training in South Florida (Company will provide per diem for the needed training time)

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 7am to 4pm.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines to produce prosthetic parts according to specifications.
• Perform routine inspections of molds and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure product conformity and identify defects.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on machinery.
• Handle materials safely, including materials handling and fabrication tasks related to extrusion and blow molding processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in the setup and changeover of molds, utilizing hand tools and fabrication skills for efficient transitions.
• Document production data accurately for process improvement and quality tracking.

Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and great communication skills
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments.
• Knowledge of hand tools used in fabrication, assembly, and maintenance tasks.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or related machine operator environment is required. Candidates should possess a strong technical background combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
