Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
• Serve gelato, pastries, and other food items according to safety and quality standards
• Operate Lightspeed POS system for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area, kitchen, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks and food handling procedures
• Manage cash register operations accurately, including basic math calculations for all transactions
• Spanish language is a plus
• Support team members with cleaning, and other duties as needed

Experience

• Prior experience, food service, or retail environments is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
• Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is beneficial
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
• Previous experience in culinary settings, cafes, grocery stores, or the food industry will be considered an asset

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
