Automation Test Engineer

John Galt Staffing is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will design test cases, analyze data, and utilize various testing methods to ensure high performance in enterprise technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Design test cases
• Query and analyze data to verify results, troubleshoot production issues, and enhance the testing automation suite
• Use manual, semi-automated and automated processes to perform testing
• Monitor performance in development, staging and production environments
• Work with users and other technical support staff

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and a minimum of two years' experience working in a software development organization is required
• Demonstrated proficiency in creating test cases
• Experience in a scripting language such as Python or Perl is required
• Understanding of relational databases and experience with fundamental SQL is required
• Proficiency with Linux is required
• Demonstrated ability to: learn quickly, communicate clearly, and solve business and technical problems is required
