Job Overview

We are seeking a Telecom Automation Engineer to join our agile, cross-functional team. You will be responsible for developing automation solutions using our proprietary Automated Network Testing (ANT) platform, contributing to sprint planning, and showcasing automation deliverables to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in Sprint Planning and design discussions to align automation with client requirements.

Develop expertise in the Automated Network Testing (ANT) platform and advocate its use.

Demonstrate automation deliverables to customers with strong presentation skills.

Engage in detailed discussions with customers about test cases and automation capabilities.

Support troubleshooting during automated test case execution.

Apply knowledge of 3GPP standards, cloud deployment, CLI, and Landslide scripts.

Propose tools/processes to improve team productivity.

Analyze user stories and test cases to determine optimal automation strategies.

Collaborate with Network System Engineers to design detailed test plans using ANT and traffic simulators.

Gather requirements for test case automation from network function teams.

Create End-to-End (E2E) test cases and post-validation templates using ANT.

Develop CLI health check templates using ANT.

Document and develop automation scripts using Python.

Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related defects.

Provide post-deployment support as needed.

Basic Qualifications

Strong understanding of Azure and Azure DevOps (ADO) concepts.

Experience creating and maintaining ADO Pipelines using YAML.

Ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

7+ years of experience in LTE/5G core network testing and development.

5+ years of Python development experience.

3+ years working with Regular Expressions (RegEx).

Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in automation scripting.

Proficient in Linux, IP Networks, and Wireshark.

Solid knowledge of LTE/5G Core Network and Call Flows.

3+ years of experience with Kubernetes (K8s), Azure, CI/CD.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies.

Working knowledge of Robot Framework, Selenium, JavaScript, JSON, YAML.

Portfolio on GitHub or similar platforms.

Passion for learning new tools and technologies.

Strong demonstration skills for presenting automation solutions to customers.
