ITgrate Nearshore is a Canadian enterprise ServiceNow delivery partner.
We support large public and private sector organizations with highly specialized, senior-level ServiceNow expertise on complex, high-impact transformation programs.
We are currently hiring three ServiceNow SPM Developers for a strategic federal mandate.
The Mandate
You will join a mature, enterprise-scale ServiceNow environment and contribute to the evolution and optimization of the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) platform.
This is not a support role.
You will be directly involved in advanced development, architectural decisions, and performance optimization within a mission-critical environment.
Contract duration: 6–12 months
Extension: Highly likely
Work model: 100% remote
On-site presence: Very occasional, Ottawa (exceptional cases only)
Scope of Work
You will work primarily within the ServiceNow SPM ecosystem, including:
- Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
- Application Portfolio Management (APM)
- Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
- Demand Management and Financial Planning components (as applicable)
Your responsibilities will include
- Designing and developing scalable SPM solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards
- Building advanced backend logic (Business Rules, Script Includes, Scoped Applications, REST/SOAP APIs)
- Developing integrations using IntegrationHub and external APIs
- Refactoring and optimizing existing configurations to improve performance and maintainability
- Troubleshooting complex platform and integration issues
- Collaborating with functional leads and enterprise architects
- Enforcing platform best practices and governance standards
Required Experience
- 5+ years in enterprise experience with ServiceNow
- Demonstrated experience delivering solutions within the SPM module
- Strong backend scripting expertise (server-side JavaScript)
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and system design
- Experience with integrations, APIs, and data modeling
- Strong performance optimization and debugging skills
Nice to have
- Advanced APM implementation experience
- Experience working in regulated or public-sector environments
- ServiceNow certifications (SPM, CSA)
Security Clearance (Mandatory)
- Active Government of Canada Reliability Status required
- Secret clearance is a strong asset
- Candidates must be eligible to work on federal mandates
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate aligned with senior-level expertise and clearance level.
