Hytec, the leader in circuit board repair, has an immediate opening for a motivated Shipping Supervisor to ensure that all outgoing shipments are on time and in accordance with Hytec Policies, Procedures, and Quality Standards.

POSITION PROFILE

This position works with the Shipping Department personnel to coordinate the daily workload, ensuring all items are packaged appropriately and all outbound shipments are processed accurately and timely. Familiar with the packaging and Carrier – LTL, Fedex, and UPS – shipping processes. Mentoring, teaching, and skill set sharing is necessary in this position.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates all outbound domestic and international shipments
• Works closely with the Service department and warehouse teams to ensure all priority orders are processed and shipped
• Maintains departmental Work Instructions, Training records, and Reference documents
• Partners with Accounting and Customer Service to resolve credit issues prior to shipment
• Supervises and trains Staging team to ensure all items are packaged in accordance with customer and Hytec expectations
• Monitors shipping supplies and coordinates with purchasing for timely replenishment

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)

• 2-5 years prior experience in leading a Shipping department
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Communication skills with sales and leadership to satisfy customer requirements
• Ability to lead and coordinate work in a team environment to meet departmental goals
• Highly self motivated with integrity and team player willing to adapt to a changing environment
• Demonstrate dependability to get assigned work done promptly and correctly without follow up
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Bi-lingual preferred
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
